Bullying in schools is a bitter fact and stronger kids bully the other kids. There are so many ways kids are bullied by older kids in the school. The kids are forced to give up their lunches, asked for money and physically harassed by other kids.
It is the responsibility of the parents to be aware of the things happening in their kids’ life. Most of the bullying cases happen at the school and many kids and teens are threatened and bullied one or the other way at schools. Here are some way with which parents can help their kids to stop being bullied.
Whether the kid is being bullied or not but parents should inculcate awareness in their kids about bullies in the school. Many a time kids do not know what they are dealing with. If parents make them aware of the ways one can threaten their kids, the kids will identify the bullying behavior.
Mentally preparing kids for the bullying situations is necessary so they can easily deal with bullies. Kids are teased by the other kids at schools, in the neighborhood and in families. But when he teasing transforms into hurting and constant threats and harassment it effects the kids in a negative way and the kids form psychological problems. By mentally preparing kids to face bullying the hurt can be minimized. If your kid tells you on the first time then you can timely stop the victimization. If the kids are not confident enough to tell their parents because of the threats then it can become worse.
Physical preparation to stop bullying is as essential for the kids as mental preparation. Kids should be strong enough to counter other kids and stand up for themselves. Bullies tend to victimize the kids who are physically weak and not confident enough to stand against them. The parents should encourage their kids to participate in physical strengthening trainings. In this regard Krav Maga self-defense training is the most effective physical training to prepare the kids to face bullies.
